Death Race

Death Race stars Jason Statham as Jensen Ames, an ex racecar driver. Jensen is setup for the murder of his wife and sentenced to prison for life. Only times have changed and Jensen gets to regain his freedom as long as he participates in Death Race. Death Race is a race with armored cars carrying rockets and 50 caliber machine guns. The rules are simple, cross the finish line 1st and don’t die! The first person to get 1st place 5 times is freed. Unfortuantely it’s all about the ratings so the warden who runs this prison and this show does everything she can to keep him from winning. Jensen knows this and another driver knows this, so on the last race they decide that the only way out is to escape. During the next race they blow a hole in the wall that keeps them from leaving where they exit the prison the same way they came in. They cross the bridge which had guards with 50 caliber machine guns but their armor was to thick. In the end they escape and move down to Mexico where they work on cars and drink martinies.

Taxi

Taxi stars Queen Latifah as Belle, New Yorks craziest yet experienced taxi driver. It also stars Jimmy Fallon as a young undercover cop. Jimmy has a problem with driving…. he can’t! So when a bank robbery is called in he has to take a taxi to it. Lucky for him this taxi driver is fast, dangerous, and outta control. Unfortunately the robbers get away but not before they mange to tick off Belle who is now in on the case with Jimmy. They track these robberers everywhere and Jimmy even manages to lose his his job but they still insist on cracking this case. They later figure out how the robberers manage to rob the banks so quick and find out where their money is. The robberers are actually four beautiful young ladies who take Jimmy’s love hostage. So they offer the girls a trade, the money for the girl. They trick the girls when trying to make the trade between cars going 100 miles an hour. The girls are then arrested and Jimmy gets his job back.

Hostage

Hostage stars Bruce Willis as Chief of Police, Jeff Talley. Jeff talley is to help out a hostage situation with a very rich family. The family has a father, daughter, and a son. They are taken hostage with by three young males all with different intentions. The situation jumps out of control when Talley’s family is taken because their is a certain CD with information on it that the father was supposed to give to these people. The little boy manages to untie himself and call Mr.Talley. Talley tells him to quietly get the CD he needs in order to save his family. The three young hostage takers want only to leave with a stash of cash they found but arew set up by the police where all three are killed and the family is saved. Talley’s family is still taken hostage where a scheme is thought up to save his family without handing over the CD. In the end both families are saved with minimal injuries.

Like Mike stars Lil Bow Wow as Calvin Cambridge an orphane boy whose life is soon completely turned around. Calvin runs into a pair of sneakers initialed MJ (Michael Jordan). When wearing these sneakers he is able jump 10 ft high and dribble, pass, and shoot just like MJ could. He gets the chance to show off his talents when his ticket is called at an NBA Knights game where he gets to play one on one with a professional basketball player. Calvin dominates the player and is then taken in by the Knights to play for them. In this experience he begins to have a father son relationship that he never had with one of the players. When Calvins shoes rip during the last game before playoffs he realizes that he will never play in the NBA again. The very next day at the orphanage Calvin and his friend Merve were addopted by the player and taken to their new home.

This remote helps him out tremendously it can freeze time, slow down time, speed up time, it even has autopilot which makes it seem as if he’s with his family when he’s really not. This gives him the time he needs to get his work done. The remote soon realizes when he wants time to speed up or slow down so it begins to do it on its own. Years skip by in no time and he misses his lttle kids growing up and becomes divorced. He then starts to realize how precious life is and that family should not be taken for granted. He eventually dies because time keeps passing by but then he wakes up and finds out it was all just a dream. A very scary dream that woke him up and made him a much better father.

The Day After Tomorrow Stars Dennis Quaid as Jack Hall and Jake Gyllenhaal as Sam. Sam is Jacks son in this film who is headed to Los Angeles to compete with his team in a competition of questions. Little did anybody know that global warming is about to change everything. Los angeles is first hit by a series of tornadoes which flattens much of the city. Next it is hit by a monsterous tidal wave that drowns much of Los Angeles. Then the entire Northern Hemisphere begins to freeze solid. This is a story of a despirate attempt for a father to save his son. Luckily Sam is a smart boy and is still alive when his father finds him and his teammates. Once the freezing storm passes they are soon rescued and taken home to be reunited with Jakes mother.

The movie wedding crashers stars Vince Vaughn as Jeremy Grey and Owen Wilson as John Bechwith. Both John and Jeremy have been friends since they were little kids. As they grew older they took over this idea of crashing weddings becausew they find that weddings make woman vulnerable to making bad decisions. After one wedding they go to the secretary of treasuries house in order to spend more time with his daughters. In time they both begin to fall in love with the daughters but their cover is soon blown because the family of the two daughters finds out that they crash weddings. So they both have to do everything they can to get them back because they realize that they are getting older and don’t want to grow old alone. They both finally admit everything that happened and tell the girls that everything they felt was real and just to give them a chance. Jeremy ends up marrying his woman and John gets his woman to take him back and give him another chance.
